A Comic Book Re-Cap, Episode 2 (Audio)

Hello, you’re listening to the second episode of A Comic Book Re-Cap, I’m you host, and my name is Will.

This is going to be a bit of a short episode today – even though talking about comic books at any level of professionalism is sort of a big deal for me I do have a tough time choosing each episode.  I did get a new online copy of the new graphic novel Book of Evil, which is a collaboration between writer Scott Snyder and the artist known only as Jock.  I do like Jock’s artwork and of course I have read Green Arrow: Year One, which features art from Jock as well. 

So I’ve started Book of Evil – sometimes with these comic book reviews I think I’m only getting one issue, but actually I’m getting the whole package.  I didn’t want to rush through the story just to have a full review for Friday, although that’s probably what I’m supposed to do.  So far Book of Evil is great, Chapter One is just scary and exciting, and the dialogue between the characters, as well as the main character’s inner thoughts, made this book surprising, new, and interesting.  (More inside the episode...)
